Katsuki’s eyes start brimming with tears again, hoping against all hope that Shouto isn’t lying to him. “P-Promise?”
Shouto smiles at him again, leaning forward to kiss his forehead. Katsuki closes his eyes when Shouto’s lips make contact with his skin – savoring the tingly sensation left behind by the vampire's loving touch.
“I promise.”
Katsuki was merely three years old when he was cast away by his clan. Being the runt of the litter, they all assumed that he wouldn't stand a chance out in the woods by himself. Cold, hungry, and destitute, Katsuki wanders the woods until he comes across enemy territory and is beaten close to death. A lonely vampire named Shouto finds him, half-dead and shaking on the forest floor, and decides to take him home and raise him like his own son.

Bakugou huffed, shaking his head. His hair shook with the movement. “Un-fucking-believable,” he uttered, more to himself than addressing Todoroki. Before Todoroki could question it, Bakugou’s eyes found Todoroki, burning him with the intensity of every shade of red they carried within them. “I’ll go to the fucking mall with everyone. I’m not going with just you. This is not a date.”
Even if Bakugou rejected him once again, Todoroki could not help the rise of his lips as he smiled. “Not a date.”
Bakugou’s scowl deepened. “Not. A. Date.”
Todoroki nodded, brain going off to daydream what he could do with Bakugou at the mall. “Yes, that’s what I said.”

Summary
So Shouto was- cleaning. Something he usually staved off for after he had finished his other priorities, but today it had been the first on his to do list. The second being: impress Bakugou's parents. Third: don't look like an idiot.
"The fuck're you sweeping for." Bakugou asked from the couch, feet propped up on the coffee table Shouto had just wiped.
Shouto whacked the All Might socked feet with the broom (sorry All Might), and Bakugou gave a nasty glare, rubbing his now sore feet.
"Dust," Shouto answered a beat later. Then, to reiterate: "and don't put your feet on the table."
OR: Bakugou's parents are visiting their new apartment, and Shouto doesn't know why he's so nervous. It's not like he's dating Katsuki, right?

“May I have your name?”
The man’s expression pinched at the question, turning from a standoffish glare to very distinct distaste in the form of a sneer.
He took a moment to think over the question, and Shouto wondered if it was possible the creature forgot its own name. “Uh, fucking… Updog.”
“Updog.” He repeated, but he didn’t feel the soothing balm of magic settle over his tongue as he took the name. That was not this mortal’s true name.
The man was regarding him, nasty scowl still in place, a hint of anticipation in his squinted eyes.
“What’s Updog?” Shouto asked, curiosity at something unknown outweighing any irritation over the man’s… everything.
The mortal snorted.
“Busy working a job, now leave me the fuck alone.”
What in the seven hells?
Shouto is a faerie with a destiny. A grand destiny meant to end the world, but a destiny nonetheless, and there's nothing going to stop him from fulfilling it. Unfortunately, he didn't account for one Bakugou Katsuki to force his way into his life.
