He laughs, the deep timbre of his voice making her shiver. Being beside him takes her back to a much simpler time in her life; a time when she wasn’t yet jaded by the world. She can still feel the red dirt beneath her fingertips. She can still smell the river water dripping off her swimsuit and taste the flavor of grape popsicles and cheap beer. She can still hear the crowd screaming on a Friday night at the high school football field, and the sounds of drunk teenagers hollering at the weekend mud bogs. She remembers it all like it was just yesterday, and it’s all because of the man now sitting next to her.
His lips curve up into a devilish smirk. He knows exactly what he’s doing. “Let’s go for a drive, Princess.”

Clarke’s seen many ceremonies to know what’s next. Bellamy leans forward, uses his free hand to tip her chin up toward him, and presses his lips to hers. The kiss is quick and then it’s over.

Clarke and Bellamy attend the same summer camp for the arts as teens. She's pretty sure he hates her as much as she hates him. That doesn't stop her from wanting to kiss him. He's very kissable and no one's ever bothered to kiss her before.
A kiss turns into something more, only for the whole thing to go up in flames.

Or, Bellamy pretends to date Clarke in order to help his sister win Homecoming Queen. Too bad that he actually falls in love with her along the way.
