When I cupped Arnold's face in my hands I had a ridiculous thought. Man, his head is firmer than my pillow…
It was stupid, really. I’d fantasized about that moment so much, holding a football shaped pillow in my arms as if it was truly him– but I never thought about how warm his skin would feel, how little stray hairs would tickle my hands, how his breath would graze over my lips. It was overwhelming.
Something I'd wanted so badly my whole life– I’d wished for it, pleading with a particularly bright star outside my window. Now it was… too much.

* Previously unfinished and was to remain that way, but silly author changed their mind.
Helga G. Pataki wasn't someone you'd want to make angry. And, boy, was it easy to make her angry.
Or at least, for most people, it was. However, it wasn't hard to notice that there was one football headed boy she seemed to go easy on. To those who didn't know her, it probably wasn't obvious at first. The classmates that were with her since preschool, though? They knew better.
