    “It was in the corner of the screen that Grian saw it; graffito of a purple, haphazardly drawn eye with the words, “Vident Malum” messily scrawled below. He frowned as the translations began to register in his mind as he continued to stare at it in the background as the reporter wrapped up his segment. It was shit Latin and was just two Latin words mixed together in a way that Grian was unsure even worked in that context. Yet even as the screen jumped to an ad break, Grian's eyes never left the spot where the eye once was on his screen. He knew what it meant.

    The graffito wasn’t there the day before. It wasn’t even there as they were running from the exploding building. It was fresh.

    A chill ran up his back at the possibility that they could know. That they were still watching. That even over ten years later he couldn’t escape.”

    Scar has transferred to start his second year at Hermiton University of Craft and Engineering in London, ready to leave America behind. What he doesn’t expect is to recognise one of his fellow students from his flight –Grian, and his adorable cat.

    Grian is back in England after a decade in the States, settling into business classes and hiding his cat in a dorm he technically shouldn’t have. Seeing his friends again is a breath of fresh air and meeting an attractive dude on his flight that happens to be attending the same university him was certainly a bonus.

    With Scar adapting to the differences between America and England, and Grian finally feeling at home after ten years, the two grow close.

    But not everything can be a fairy tale.

    As it looked down at it, Blue saw the hand's pale, white, porcelain covered with the thin fabric of a white glove. The fabric slid on the smooth surface as Miodowa traced subtle shapes into it.

    "Would you like to ask me any more questions?" She squeezed the cold hand with tenderness and affection that Blue found odd, and at the same time, yearned for more of it.

    It fell silent for a second, staring at their hands. It felt the warmth radiating off of Miodowa's hand, and involuntarily, it squeezed back her hand.

    "Why is your hand so warm, and mine so cold?" It finally spoke, lifting its gaze back up to Miodowa's warm eyes gazing upon her from above.

    "Because you are a doll," she replied calmly, chuckling lightly. "Your skin is not like mine, it is just porcelain. You are not able to produce warmth, sadly."

    Blue hummed quietly, its gaze once more falling down to its hand.

    AKA Miodowa is a genius inventor that tries to make a doll that she could raise as a daughter.
