Summary
Lance smiled, and...okay, no matter what Pidge says, he’s not an idiot, and he can admit that Keith is unbelievably beautiful in every way, but seeing him asleep and vulnerable, with that soft expression on his face and his bangs falling all over his eyes and...Lance flushed ‘I am so gone aren’t I?’ he thought to himself.
or, Keith gets accidentally turned lovey-dovey and Lance is a hot mess.

Summary
“Wait, you need a sitter?” Chimney says. Eddie nods. “Maddie’s brother got back in town a few nights ago, he’s looking for work.”
Eddie frowns. He doesn’t know much about this mysterious brother of Maddie’s – doesn’t even really know much about Maddie, either, aside from being Chimney’s girlfriend – but he’s pretty sure every time he’s been brought up in conversation it’s not been particularly inspiring. “Is this the brother who flunked out of college because he spent all his tuition on a motorcycle?”
Chimney colours a little. “Um. No?”
or, Buck babysits Christopher and Eddie is—fine about it, actually.

Summary
“Did you hear about this?” Eddie demanded, walking past Karen into the house as soon as she opened the door.
“Hey, Eddie,” Hen greeted from the kitchen. “How are you, Eddie? I’m doing great, thanks for asking.”
Eddie dropped the book on the counter. “Taylor Kelly wrote a book.”
“Okay that’s worth it,” Karen announced.

Summary
Eddie caught sight of the man leaning against the side of his desk and immediately wanted to retreat to the relative safety of the hallway, back in time when he lived happily not knowing that Mr. Buckley was apparently some kind of male model masquerading as a third-grade teacher.
“Uh. Hi,” was all he managed, as his brain desperately tried to reconcile this person—this very tall, very broad, very hot person, Jesus fucking Christ—with the Mr. Buckley that Chris rambled about constantly, the one who loved Lord of the Rings and was an endless repository of fun animal facts. (Did you know a group of owls was called a parliament? Eddie didn't, not until last week.)

Summary
It’s not like Buck needs anyone to tell him what his issues are. They might as well be written on his forehead in bright red marker. He’s not ignoring it or anything; Buck just doesn’t see the point in re-litigating them every time he feels like this, every time he feels like a dog that got sent back to the pound. It’s not like he doesn’t have his friends and family, and Tommy is sleeping right next to him, but there’s a hole in Buck’s chest he’s had since he was born and he still doesn’t know how to fill it.
When the 118 is closed for reconstruction after an earthquake, Buck is a floater for different stations around the city. He tries not to let it get to him. Much.

Summary
And then, in Los Angeles, 2018, Eddie had met Buck. Then, huddled over a man with a bomb in his leg, Eddie had needed gauze and Buck’s hand had moved. Then, in the parking lot bathed in the light of an ambulance on fire, Buck had inhaled and Eddie's lungs expanded. And, well, that was that.
