There’s something about Lightning McQueen. It’s the smile, Jackson thinks.
He’d grown up watching Lightning’s races. He still remembers when he’d come on the scene, the rookie tied for first place in the Piston Cup. Jackson had been ten at the time, going to the races with his father on Sunday afternoons when they could, listening to them on the radio when they couldn’t. He's never gotten over him.
