Summary
“My visa got denied.”
That couldn’t be happening. He didn’t want it to be happening. It wasn't like he didn’t know there was a possibility, but he had hoped all his hard work would pay off. Turned out, he wasn’t worthy or good enough. Not on his own, anyway. Not with his status.
“George.” He didn't like the tone on his friends voice. He didn't like how there wasn't a trace of optimism on it anymore. “Maybe its time for plan B.”
George was furious. Dream couldn't be serious. ‘Plan B’ wasn't even an actual plan, it was a contract that would tie him forever to someone else. Because the best way to get an omega approved to live in another country, was if said omega was currently courting someone from that country. Mating, the promise of a new mated couple, the promise of one less single omega, that was a reason to give the green light for the visa.
“I’m not gonna mate a random alpha just so I can live there, Dream.”
For a moment, there was silence. For a moment, he thought that they could drop the topic and move on. But then, his friend talked again, in barely a whisper.
“You know I’m an Alpha too, right George?”
---
Or, Dream and George decide to mate for the visa.

They aren’t soulmates.
Time drifts, and George leaves to find solace. When he returns, he finds Dream, and wounds have never felt so fresh.

Summary
Listen, George was not superstitious at all. He knows that there was no such thing as ghosts or the supernatural. Calling it logically improbable is too kind... it was impossible.
George knows there had to be a completely logical and acceptable explanation to his objects moving around his apartment. To his dog and cat seemingly interacting with the thin air of the corner of his bedroom or by the window in his office. Ghosts were not the explanation for the cold spots in those same spots.
There was a logical explanation for all of that and for the little mist smiley faces that show up in his bathroom mirror after every shower. Most importantly, there was an explanation for the voice he started to hear speaking to him at random points in the day, the little notes complimenting him, and the eyes he constantly felt on him.
No, ghosts weren’t real. And George was sane.
This was just stress from the move. It had to be…

Summary
Karl hums and leans on the desk over George, raising a brow at the posted picture and going so far to point his finger directly at the screen. “Tall, blond, and gorgeous, huh? Ladykiller.”
“Shut up.” George scrolls a bit, eyes flicking over things Karl already listed and little pieces like his height, weight, eye color… nothing juicy. George frowns at the black bars of text and how they become more and more frequent as he scrolls another inch. “He’s got so much redacted text, Techno really hired this guy? There's barely anything on him.”
Lieutenant George Davidson receives two new hires at the Central Station precinct. At first glance they seem alright, but is there something more to the blond detective and his blacked out past? Something that's worth hiding, and something that puts George against all he’s ever known?
