Summary
Harry’s alpha recoiled in horror. He had made a pup cry. Why is a pup out here alone? How the hell did he survive this long? Well, he clearly knows how to hunt… but where’s his family?
His temples throbbed. The need to scent, to shield, to claim the child as his own grew stronger with every second.
“Mama?” the boy whimpered, shrinking in on himself, holding the rabbit tighter as though he expected Harry to steal it.
Harry blinked. Mama? He glanced at the spear still raised high above his head and slowly lowered it.
“What is your nam—”
The words died in his throat as the bushes behind him exploded with sound.
The sound of thrashing came closer, and Harry spun with his spear ready.
An omega burst through the bushes, limping heavily on his right foot. He gripped a baseball bat with both trembling hands, his eyes wild as they darted between Harry and the boy.
Harry’s breath hitched.
The prettiest omega he had ever seen.
