"I have a headache," Wemmbu supplies unhelpfully. Mapicc just looks even more confused. The red markings that outline the height of his cheekbones seem more blood-red than auburn today.
Wemmbu wrinkles his nose. A strange though he chooses to ignore.
"Is this a best friend thing we don't know about?" Spoke pipes up from the end, both hands flat on the table so he could lean as far forward to peer at their hands. Flame shoves him back when the tail-end of his too-long bandana dangles in his face.
"No—"
"Yes," Egg hums, the slight crook of smirk not at all hidden by his wings. Wemmbu shoots him a look over the table. His best friend just smirks a little wider. "You should try it with Mapicc, man. It's enlightening."
Or, Wemmbu sees red, a best friend who knows him too well, and knows something is wrong with him.

As Treeman Corp wishes to use his popularity and crush to raise Nice's Trust value through Moon, it doesn't go as expected and Xiao Yueqing thrives on it.
“I'm your biggest fan!” The words fall from The Commoner’s mouth at such speed that it is quite the miracle that anyone can understand him at all.
The man was bowing at a perfect 90° degrees, his face, partially covered by his hair, was painted with such an intense and bright red that it made it hard to ignore.
“Thank you,” Moon says after a second or two —not enough time to lose the rhythm but enough to make her doubt noticeable.

Summary
Flamefrags is a normal civilian–living a normal civilian life. Atleast that's what most people think, and he would like to keep it that way.
He thought he could do anything on his own, he's not labeled a solo hero for no reason. However fate just never seemed to be on his side as he started to be paired with his fellow heroes on missions he swears he could do on his own.
Follows Flame tries to form new relations and mend the ones he used to have.
OR: Times where solo hero Flamefrags needs to work with others (This is just a very self-indulgent superhero fic)
