Summary
It had been two years since Jin guanyaos death. Wuxian having seemingly settle in cloud recess. Attempting to make peace with the fact of his rebirth and the feeling of being wanted my someone, he is slowly making progress. But he can’t help but be dragged down of the weight of change. Though it’s been 18 years for others since his first death. To him he’s spent 2 years trying to make sense of things after being thrown right back into it. Now that he’s no longer living for war or fighting for his existence he doesn’t know what to do with this life of living for yourself.

Lan Xichen was already standing on the porch, waiting for them.
Nie Mingjue stood next to him, a beer in his hand, both of them waiting for Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to arrive.
He heard Lan Zhan get out of the car. He saw him walk around the front of the car to his door. He felt Lan Zhan’s hands cupping his cheeks, forcing him to look at him as he knelt down next to the car.
“Wei Ying, everything will be alright,” He wiped away the tear that slid down Wei Ying’s face, “They’ve been mentioning how happy they are to have you here, with us, where you belong.”
Another tear slid down Wei Ying’s face.
“But what if I mess it all up again?”

Summary
Little one-shot glimpses into modern Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian as they navigate life together.
Chapter 1: Wei Ying's blood sugar tanks while he's at a dinner with Lan Zhan's family, he promptly makes an utter fool of himself. The Lans are just concerned.
Chapter 2: Wei Ying is coming back into his apartment after work, talking to his boyfriend on the phone. Someone is watching him.
Chapter 3: His boyfriend really likes spicy food, sometimes that is an issue for Lan Zhan.
Chapter 4: Wei Ying’s got a busy day at work ahead of him. Thankfully his boyfriend is doing his pharmacy school rotations upstairs. It makes the work slightly more bearable.
Chapter 5: Wei Ying goes somewhere else, like, in his head. Lan Zhan is the beacon guiding him back. (The Ambulance Chapter)
Chapter 6: Wei Ying and his boyfriend stumble home drunkenly from the bar, and they play a little game.
Chapter 7: Wei Ying learns just how much Lan Zhan masked in high school.
Chapter 8: Lan Zhan takes care of a sick Wei Ying, who is starting to remember curious things about his childhood.
Chapter 9: Wei Ying has recovered, but Lan Zhan is struggling with change.

Lan Jingyi, who had evidently had *enough*, simply narrowed his eyes and marched their whole group to the edge of the clearing where Jiang Cheng was still locked in a standoff with the older Lan disciple.
Once they had a good angle, he simply narrowed his eyes and pointed at the tall Lan.
This was the exact moment when he looked over at them, and Wei Ying swallowed.“Oh. OH!”
After he was able to do more than gape again, (which took a not inconsiderable amount of time) he quickly bustled over, shot the tall handsome man who was evidently his husband a charming smile, and took Jiang Cheng's arms into his hands.
“If you would please excuse us for a moment, I need a word with my Shidi. Very urgently.”

A strange curse causes Wei Wuxian to shift back and forth between his childhood, teenage and adult self.
Jiang Wanyin may or may not be in over his head with the task of keeping the mayhem at a minimum.
Along the way, everyone gets to learn a few new things about Wei Wuxian, along with many realizations about their relationships.
