Summary
Of all the wonderful curiosities and treasures in the wizard’s tower San is in charge of cleaning, his favourite has always been the wind-up doll. Life-size and more beautiful than any living creature, its delicate porcelain features fascinate San, draw him in. And if San sometimes tells the doll about his day or sings to it while he’s busy cleaning, that’s between him and the doll. Hey, being apprenticed to a grouchy old wizard who lives miles from the nearest town can get lonely sometimes.
Then one night, when the wizard is away, San wakes to discover an intruder in their tower. Someone is trying to steal the doll.

Summary
He isn’t sure where the pain resides, whether it is truly his ankle or his foot, just knowing it is somewhere between there. Or perhaps it is the both of them and he’s way more doomed than he believes he may already be, which would be the worst-case scenario. But the universe is just testing his luck today, isn’t it?
There is no way he just injured himself over dancing in the kitchen.

Summary
Hongjoong’s head started to droop forward; he tried to lift it back up, but quickly gave in and let it fall against the table with a thunk. At least his face was hidden now. He let his guard fall, and a couple of tears dripped onto the table. His eyelids slid shut, but even then, sleep didn’t come. Heat balled in his chest and pushed at his throat, begging to erupt. He forced it down with measured breaths, but when a gentle hand settled on his shoulder, he couldn’t hold back anymore. He burst into tears, sobs shaking his exhausted body in earnest.
Or, Hongjoong has been struggling with insomnia, and doesn't tell the others until he truly can't bear it anymore.
