   Summary

   All his life Jungkook had lived in the Lows, a labyrinth of narrow streets, only lit up by the numerous neon adds around. It was a hellscape of barely-secret surveillance and invasive tech and addiction.

   Jungkook tried to stay on top of it all, avoid it as much as possible. The day he would let some greedy Top-1%-er into his head was the day he would roll over. So he lived on the fringes of society, scavenging and rebuilding tech to keep above water.

   But one instance of bad luck was all it took to set the PeaceKeepers on his tail. Cornered, Jungkook was aided by a stranger in a curious way, the encounter leaving him shaken... and intrigued.

    

   Jimin was just happy to find someone on this planet able to communicate with him.
   He only grew fonder of Jungkook with time...
