“The word wouldn’t get out—”or: In the post-Fourth Shinobi War world, where being a child is still a death sentence no matter if you're born in a prosperous city-state or a backwards village, a child awakening Sharingan is the worst possible outcome. Thankfully, Kakashi and Sasuke are both very well-versed in dealing with childhood Sharingan-related trauma.
Unfortunately, the child's parentage makes things... difficult.
