Summary
Time to leave Vegas again has come. But let's not do it so fast, things has to be done first.
Set during and after CSI:Vegas 1x10, the fic narrates the events of the rollercoaster night.
"You know?" he said in a flash of lucidity, the glow of the keys still in his eyes, "I think that's the worst idea I've heard you formulate since we returned to this city." Then his gaze softened. "But if that's what you want, let's try it."
They exchanged places, but just before getting into the car, Sara asked him if, because of mal du débarquement, it was safe to let him drive.
"I guess we'll find out soon," he replied. "If I get too close to things or people, let me know."
It was unclear whether he was joking or not, but for Sara, it was nothing but a plus. -

"I've been thinking about your invitation lately…and I would like to accept it."
When Grissom finished, he nervously clenched his lips.
Over the following seconds, Sara pondered what she had heard, while her look went resting on the push-button panel [of the elevator] with an unchecked movement. What Grissom had just said really seemed something sensational, but -
"Excuse me…what invitation?" she asked, a half embarrassed smile on her lips.
Grissom didn't linger. "The dinner."

"Sara stood still, but the mugs shook. When, little more than a second later, Grissom drew back, there was an uncertain air on his face and he didn’t dare raise his look. Sara blinked a couple of times. She opened her mouth, but several seconds elapsed before any sound passed her lips."

"In the end, they settled in a small town by the sea. The house was not big, but with enough space to live comfortably. [...] That day, Grissom had to give a lecture at a university some fifty kilometers away from the town they lived in – something happening two or three times a year. He had just reached the car outside their house when Sara caught up to him, handing him a folder he had forgotten. She also reminded him of their meeting with Luis that evening to watch the lunar eclipse on the beach."

Summary
Every day I come up with many ideas for GSR fics - little bright lights that illuminate short moments, short scenes, short speeches. Flashes in my head. Often they are ideas I like and would like to build a larger story on, in the future. Well, I realized that it wouldn’t take a lifetime to accomplish that.
So I decided to share these ideas. Maybe, eventually, I’ll actually do something with them, but in the meantime, I thought they might also inspire someone.
These aren’t just sketches, though. In fact, this is also meant to be a kind of writing exercise, an exercise in brevity: giving a cue - but one that is as clear as possible - and then leaving room for imagination. For this reason, this series includes very short texts: some may be as long as a page, a page and a half, but many will be as short as ten lines. Sort of gifs in words. :)So below is the list of prompts, which I will post as they are ready. You can use them as you please. Only one thing I ask, if they inspire you for something, let me know. I’m curious to see how the story evolves. :)
