“Your face is flushed,” Maomao informs him, as if he couldn't feel his own rising temperature. Her hand slips down to press against his cheek – a killing blow. Jinshi hears himself make a pathetic noise.
Maomao’s eyes flick up to meet his. Slowly, she lifts a brow. He can’t even say anything in his own defence, just slumps in defeat, as she glances down at his lap and then sighs.
Jinshi is distracted for days after the aphrodisiac incident. Gaoshun ‘helps’ by siccing Maomao on him. He is probably not expecting what happens next. (Or at least, refusing to think too much about it.)

Like a droplet in the ocean, the stranger's deep voice ripples. Resonant enough to linger in Yeonjun's bones, gentle enough to fade away. The boy cradles the white cat’s head, rubbing soothing lines between her squeezed-shut eyes. His body is hunched over as if to shield her from the world, slow-moving fingertips combing through her street-soiled fur, focused on picking away little pieces of dirt. There’s something so delicate about him. He adores animals, Yeonjun can tell.
“She’s sick.”
It takes a moment for Yeonjun to realise the handsome boy is talking to him. He’s doe-eyed, with a face like fresh snow.
Yeonjun’s heart jumps.

“Hyuuuuung,” he croons again, dragging the word out and this time wrapping his arms around Jake’s waist and burying his face into his neck. Jake groans even louder, but he doesn’t push Riki off, doesn’t smack at him with wet, soapy hands. He just drags Riki to the paper towel dispenser, going about his business like having a 183 centimeter guy on his back is nothing unusual (which…maybe it isn’t).
“Yeah, what?”
“You like me,” Riki mumbles into Jake’s neck, hoping that Jake’s skin muffles the way that he’s clearly grinning.
Or Jay & Jake fighting over who took care of Riki more/better stokes some feelings and leads to some heated confessions.

It’s cruel. He knows it’s cruel, but there’s something about Jake looking down at him, chin tucked against his neck, face bright red and eyes and cheeks wet with tears, that makes Riki want to push a little harder, prod a little longer, twist Jake just right until he breaks.
Or: Riki and Jake spend some quality time together in his childhood bedroom while a party is happening downstairs.

When Jungwon nodded with his bottom lip caught between his teeth, Jay genuinely thought he was dreaming. It felt like a nightmare more than anything, especially because his heart was beating wildly in his chest and he knew it wasn't entirely due to shock and fear. There was something else there.
