“I—I’m welcome???” Stiles flails in wordless, inarticulate rage.
“You told me I had to put some thought into your interests when you turned down my last mating offer, and so…” Peter’s lips twitch, his arms crossed over his stupidly broad chest, right under the plunge of his latest bespoke fucking v-neck. He’s leaning against a trunk like he’s posing for GQ, and his eyes flick up and down Stiles, deliberately slow. He nods over Stiles’ shoulder toward the grave and puts on a wounded expression, “I thought you’d be pleased. You really should have let me buy you that Versace. What are you wearing?”

He looks so fucking radiant, it makes Astarion want to stab something.
In which Astarion saves the day, and Waterdeep, and Gale. That last one is completely incidental, you understand. And no, he is not lying to himself, darling. That you would even suggest such a thing.
