Summary

Wednesday moves, slow but with purpose, and before she can think to regret it, she crosses the room and stands in front of Enid.
Then, Wednesday reaches out—awkwardly, like every muscle is fighting the motion, and places her hand over Enid’s.
“I would like to propose an act of violence.”
Enid blinks. Her lip quivers. Then, to Wednesday’s quiet horror, she lets out a watery laugh.“I knew you’d say that.”
OR
Wednesday is suddenly the caretaker for a runaway Enid, and finds she might actually tolerate her more than she cares to admit.
