Being a shameless ripoff of Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" set in the contemporary Sherlock (BBC) universe. I have endeavoured in this mashed up little story to raise a hymn of harmony and reconciliation appropriate to the season. Magic has been a part of Sherlock's life for as long as he can remember. Most people view his abilities with suspicion, their own power pale in comparison to what he can do. Jealous rumours dog his footsteps: accusations that he sold his soul in exchange for his talents.
Then John Watson enters his life, all ease and acceptance, and Sherlock will do anything – will pay any price – to ensure nothing brings him to harm.
