For a moment, Tim stood stockstill, unsure what to do because his father - his larger than life father - had turned into a child.
Bruce is de-aged back to the night his parents were shot. He doesn't remember the Bats but he knows they're family. Bonding ensues.

Summary
(yet another) queer re-imagining of the original series.
Life at the Tendo household takes a turn for the weird at the arrival of Ranma, a boy cursed to turn into a girl when splashed with cold water - and while he may not be aware of it himself, it certainly doesn't help that his personality can change on a whim between an abrasive jerk and the sweetest girl this side of Nerima! As their martial schools need a marital union to ensure a prosperous future, the two families decide that Ranma would be best paired with Akane, who would rather continue her training than figure out why her heart beats at the idea of an union with a girl… or at least someone that appears to be one half the time.

It didn’t surprise him that she knew of stuff like this– after all, she was a smart and fast-learning kid, and there was all sorts of shit going on in private schools. It wasn’t any of his business to dig into the types of women his business partners were dating or sleeping with, but he knew there was at least one person lying to everyone about the nature of their relationship.
Okay, now that that was out of the fucking way.
“Of course,” he kissed the crown of her head. “By the end of this week, I promise I’ll have someone you can be happy to call your mom, okay?”
Her hair bounced as she nodded enthusiastically.

There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.
