Summary
Since the time of the first dawn, Castrum Kremnos and Okhema have been at odds. But just as even the tallest mountain will be eroded, so will the reason for such animosity be lost to time. Now, war has risen once more between the two city states.
Eurypon, King of the Kremnoans, seeks to deliver his people back to their old glory by any means necessary. His son, Prince Mydeimos, finds himself torn between his duty as his father’s heir and the desire to pull his people away from their blood soaked destiny.
On the other side of the war, the Nameless have broken their pact of neutrality to assist their Okheman friends. Stelle, a young warrior of unknown past and power, finds herself captured by the kremnoans during a campaign. In the midst of a ruined fortress, she meets Mydei and his companions and remembers that war is not the only path.
Can these two souls learn to set aside their differences and establish a mutual trust strong enough to end an eon of war. Or was their story doomed to fail from the first page. Only the Muses know the answer.
