“And I’m clearly not ‘all by my lonesome’.” Law drolled a moment later with a halfhearted wave in Kidd’s direction. It earned him a middle finger in the air as the red head sipped his beer and Law had to fight down the urge to snort.

Summary
Sakazuki, still young in the Navy, discovers an abandoned and seriously injured child in an alley of a port city. This boy is none other than Ace, but Sakazuki does not know his identity. Despite his strict nature and attachment to the rules, he chooses to take him in charge instead of handing him over to the authorities.
Ace, at first shows himself hostile and wary, but gradually ends up becoming attached to this severe Marine who is paradoxically the first adult to protect him without demanding anything. Their relationship is born in a tense atmosphere, between silences, angers and moments of fragile trust.

Koby has a useless crush on Luffy that he knows will never be reciprocated, and after three years of dealing with a crush he can never seem to stomp out, hes found some- less-than-healthy coping mechanism.
Those on the outside just know Koby has a type: Messy black hair, big brown eyes, kind smiles, endless optimism,
But it's what it will be; Koby knows Luffy doesnt want him, and he doesnt want to force someone who doesnt love him to love him, except on an island, his crew is stopped at, he goes out drinking, trying to make the pain go away.
Koby might think hes unloveable, but most dont; with his light, fluffy pink hair and the way hes subtly built muscular, he can make you feel like the only person in the world. Some people aren't as worried about forced love; some might even prefer it if they can get the pretty Marine captain in bed.

Well, calling him a kid is a bit of an exaggeration – he isn’t that much younger than him. Still, that insane marine – Coby, he learns – stood between his little brother (the one he abandoned don't think about it–) and an admiral, protected him and risked his life for his enemy, and Sabo has to meet him.
Saving him seems like a good start.
