You lay back against the headboard and close your eyes, trying to picture what she sees when she wakes up; the window with its half-broken blinds, the string lights she has tacked up along the ceiling, the pile of clothes on the chair in the corner that never seems to get smaller or larger.
You let yourself imagine what it would be like if she came home right now. What if she walked in and found you here, wearing her clothes, in her bed?
She'd scream, probably. Run, maybe. Call the cops, definitely.
Unless… unless you didn't let her.

"You know what's funny?"
"What?"
"I always thought you were, like, intimidated by me. And like, the whole ‘little brother has a crush on his cool, sexy older sister’ thing would’ve been easy to deal with, but this—" She gestures vaguely at her phone. "This isn't so simple, is it?"
