During a late night at the facility, one of the more... temperamental ghosts seems to want some attention. She's never tried to hurt Lars before, but does that mean he's safe paying her a visit alone, especially given her reputation?
Possessor!OFC and Lars Pinfield slow-burn. OFC is in place of the possessor introduced in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. She lives in an enclosure in the facility where Lars works. So far she's been openly hostile to every worker who even comes near, but for some reason, Lars seems to be somewhat of an exception to that. Does that really mean that he's safe around her yet though? And what about when she starts reaching out to him?

After getting the news that his girlfriend does not want to be in their son's life, Eddie Diaz meets Evan Buckley in the hospital cafeteria of all places. They form a bond that neither of them can explain and become very involved in each other's lives. But what happens when Eddie has to ship out for his tour and Buck volunteers to take care of Chris? What happens when the letters Eddie has been sending to them stop coming and Buck instead gets a letter which leaves Eddie's condition unclear? "Hear me out," Buck said. "Clearly, both of us are sick of dating other people. And we're a good fit, in pretty much every way that matters. So what if we're not in love? We don't need to be in love to be happy together."
Eddie frowned. "So basically, we'd be boyfriends, without benefits?"
"Yes!" Buck snapped his fingers. "Like platonic boyfriends! We'd get all the benefits of a relationship and none of the heartbreak."
And maybe Eddie had finally lost his mind, or maybe it was from all the alcohol clouding his judgment, but the idea of it didn't sound half as crazy as it should have.
