Summary

Summary
"I’m only two minutes late!” Izuku protested. Had he missed the start of an important test? None of the national, standardized tests were supposed to happen this month and even being two minutes late to one of those wouldn’t elicit this sort of reaction. They were discussing their career interest forms today, but that was it. Nothing time-critical was supposed to be happening.
“Midoriya, you were reported missing a week ago. No one has seen you for eight days. The police have been combing the city for you.”
"I’m sorry. What?”
Midoriya Izuku went missing for a week and turned up in a back alleyway with skills he's never even heard of and no memory of how he came by them. He resigns himself to never learning the truth of what happened to him, but he shouldn't waste this chance should he? He could become a hero with reflexes like these.

Summary
As the watchers began to disperse, Mei continued staring at the greenette’s hands as he absently shuffled his deck again and again. Abruptly Midoriya’s head swiveled and his piercing gaze locked onto hers as if laser-guided. She watched him like a curious classmate. He watched her like an osprey, his predatory gaze forced to pierce through the glare of the sun and the churn of choppy water to find her. Midoriya cocked his head in that peculiar way of his and she shivered, understanding the cold fear of a trout that catches a hint of a raptor’s shadow dancing across the surface of a shallow stream. There was no way someone that scary could be quirkless.
Hatsume Mei takes a long, winding path to the conclusion that her classmate is an eldritch horror.
Although technically a sequel, this story should make sense on its own, or as much sense as it is intended to make, anyway.
