Based off this prompt on twitter from LegendHaught: Renowned tattoo artist Sara Lance has just opened a new tattoo business in Star City. Ava Sharpe, a new FBI cadet loses a bet with her friends, therefore, she will have to get a tattoo but cannot find the right place. What will happen when their worlds collide?

Running as far as possible from her former life, Ava Sharpe gave up her career as a big city trauma surgeon in Star City to become a small-town doctor in rural Americana. Life is different but not so bad, the house she’s staying in is another story. When the town’s former wild child Sara Lance shows up on her doorstep out of the blue, her life will never be the same. But maybe what they both need to heal is each other. Inspired by the song The House That Built Me by Miranda Lambert. Avalance AU. Multi-chapter.

Somewhere between 9/11 and the financial crash in '08, the Legends are at high school...
Sara Lance has a secret. She kissed Alex Danvers on summer camp. Alex is a girl, but she doesn't live anywhere near Starling City, and it's not like they're dating or anything. Sara is sure it means something, this whole kissing Alex Danvers and liking it thing, and it's possibly related to the fact that she goes out of her way to make sure she passes Ava Sharpe in the corridor between classes. And when Ava Sharpe smiles? Well, that just about makes Sara's day.
Ava Sharpe has a plan for the school year, and intends to stick to it. That plan absolutely does not involve Sara Lance who is annoyingly good at everything seemingly without trying. Plus Sara Lance pops up everywhere; in the corridors, at the lockers, at the football, in the school musical, in Ava's thoughts. Wait... what is that last one all about?
