Summary
Flowers Drenched in Sadness. Fields of leeching plants that taste your sorrow and feed the soul of a demon. It was announced that Kagome was suffering far worse than Inuyasha, her pain much deeper than his own. He was so wrapped up in mourning Kikyo's death, he hadn't noticed. Kagome was one of the strongest people he knew; she was capable of putting others before herself no matter what she'd been through. Now he was watching her crumble night after night when she thought no one was awake to notice. She began to hold back from him, to lie, to pretend like the truth and her exhaustion weren't painted on her face vividly for the half demon to see. When she goes home to prepare for a test, Inuyasha decides enough is enough.
