“Enough!” The chief exclaimed, removing the beginning of tears from his eyes and smudging his mask in the process, several freckles shining through.
“I've changed my mind,” he began, addressing his tribe, who growled, viscous. “This traitor protected a coward who went against us,” a lump formed in his throat, inhibiting his ability to speak for a moment, but, nonetheless, he continued.
“I agree that he must be punished, but he can help us. I propose that we have him join the tribe.” -
