Summary
What happened to Wei Wuxian in the 13 years he was dead?
When MXTX was posed this question in an interview, she stated: "He's in a state of chaos, not quite conscious but he didn't lose all his senses, just like he's in an endless nightmare."
This fic is a bittersweet interpretation of what Wei Wuxian might have experienced throughout his years without a corporeal body.
It's not all bad, there is some adorable fluff mixed in as well, so don't worry! Some sweetness to ease the sting, and of course Wei Wuxian gets a happy ending with his soulmate in the end - since this fic is meant to be canon compliant after all.
I wrote this fanfic with the intention that it could fit into the novel without any disturbance to canon - so hopefully that's the case!
