Summary
“Atsumu,” Sakusa utters, causing his gaze to snap up.
His pupils are so blown out that Atsumu can't see where they blend with his black iris. His look seems just as frustrated as Atsumu has felt all these last fucking days. The furrow between his brows reveals that he wants Atsumu at least as much and yet he’s still hesitant.
Atsumu frowns and inhales sharply.
“Ya really do want me,” he says. “And ya hate it.”
He changes the angle of his knife, so it’s against Sakusa’s neck. He doesn’t look nearly as alarmed by the cold metal pressed against his skin as Atsumu might expect. Not nearly as alarmed as when Atsumu brings his mouth to Kiyoomi’s.

“Been told ‘s good.” He says, and then smirks. “Been told of the pretty, moody omega that makes ya wish ya were dead.”
“And that would be me?”

Summary
Despite being one of the most beautiful and well-bred omegas in Sendai's high society, Oikawa Tooru remains unmated, largely due to the reputation of unapproachability he has crafted for himself. He prefers things this way, not wanting to lose the independence he values so much.
Iwaizumi Hajime has returned to Sendai following his father’s death to take his place as the next Duke of Seijoh, though he has no desire for the title given his painful upbringing. He is determined to let the family name—one that has looked down upon anyone who is not an alpha—die with him.
When the two of them meet, they come up with a ruse that will serve both their needs: Hajime will pretend to court Tooru. Tooru’s courting season will be occupied by an alpha whom no other alpha dares cross while Hajime will be able to go through the remainder of the season without anyone asking about his mating prospects. It sounds like the perfect plan, until both of them start to develop feelings, ones that they vowed to themselves they would never indulge.
