Percy Jackson has survived a lot in the last few years. He should finally be able to take a break, but the Gods never let that happen. Only, the thing is, this time it isn't the Gods from his world that are trying to get to him - instead, they're from a world where they can no longer have children, and they desperately want them. It's weird, being actively sought out by Gods who (for once) don't mean harm, but their interest in his life is even weirder. Especially when he has to confront it himself.
OR: percy is taken by gods from a universe where they can't have demigods, and the magic used to find him also creates a set of books about his life - because each time one of the living demigods are mentioned, they, too, are summoned to meet their alternative parents. (although not every one of them turns up.) they've been planning to find them for a while, and now, they aren't willing to let them go. (he'll figure something out. hopefully.)

Summary
Apollo is dead, but not really. He's killed Python, but the sheer effort has him Fading into Chaos. Somehow, he ultimately wakes up from all of that - but not in his universe, and not in his time. Instead, he's back in Ancient Greece, in a world where the Gods have been cursed by Kronos to never have mortal children, and cannot even bless mortals, which might explain by the Oracle of Delphi keeps dying. Why does his Oracle always have bad things happening to them in every universe, anyway?
(OR: apollo dies at the end of his trials, and ends up being revived in a universe where demigods don't exist, and the Gods are desperate for children. something intervenes to bring them some, from the universe where the gods can have children - but rarely cherish them. unfortunately, this new universe still has issues, and apollo doesn't just mean how affectionate these gods are, because the curse extends to mortals with the favour of the divine - and so the holders of the spirit of prophecy usually ends up, well, insane, which feels like a cruel joke, because he's just fixed his own oracle. oh, and once again, something wants to kill them. how is he meant to get back to his own universe now?)

"What do you think he's waiting for?" Nathaniel asks, squinting at the blonde boy that Lila is so fixated on.
Marinette shrugs. "His friends? The next lesson? Divine intervention?"Lila is making good on her promise to take all of Marinette's friends, although it isn't ruining Marinette as much as she wants. Everything seems to be going wrong for Marinette, and Lila seems to be getting close to her end goal of making her miserable, getting attention, and dating someone rich and famous. And then, well, the school trip happens.
OR: Lila has been trying to isolate Marinette and date Adrien for over a year now, and, slowly, it seems to be coming true. Then the class gets to spend their final term - from Easter until the summer holidays - at a school that Dupont partners with in england. On the very first day, they meet Adrien's cousin, Felix, who Lila tries to befriend and swoon. Her biggest obstacle, however, is the fact that his class seems to be overprotective of him, incredibly weird, and well versed in dealing with people who try and romance Felix. And Marinette? She can just sit back and watch Lila stumble into a hole she can't get herself out of. What can the liar possibly do to save herself now?

"With its God, I suppose."The giants arise without warning, only a few months after Kronos dies - with no prophecy and no dreams. Apollo's vision of this occuring is one that his father punishes him for having, lest it disturb the sanctuary Olympus. The mist falls immediately, mortals and monsters facing each other, and underneath it all, demigods from all sorts of pantheons race to stop Gaea from rising to meet her soldiers. Apollo dies among them, fading into the slowly growing labyrinth that pulls him in the moment he becomes mortal.
OR: apollo is made mortal for having a vision that he can't remember, his ichor and his name stripped from him. with that, the sun stops working, as does his children's powers. immediately, the labyrinth finds him and keeps him trapped. percy is still missing his memories, jason is lost to the wilderness, and the giants have risen, destroying the mist as they do so. gaea is preparing to rise, the demigods have to stop her, and they have to find a way to save apollo too, all whilst the doors of death are chained.

Summary
dupont welcomes five transfers from england for the year, arriving after the winter holidays. one of them is felix fathom, adrien's incredibly famous cousin. one transfer, however, arrives early, much to the interest of both marinette and lila. marinette thinks that life may be looking up for her - but is this girl really what she seems? and how far will lila go to try to use the new girl to get power from felix for her own gain - and just how involved with hawkmoth is she?
at the same time, felix fathom and adrien agreste are both experiencing strange, threatening - deadly - symptoms that are starting to overwhelm them. when they finally start searching for an answer, they uncover exactly why playing with fate and magic is a bad decision. the thing is, they don't know what to do, don't know if it's fixable, and have bigger problems that are probably going to kill them much quicker.
(or: lila begins a rampage of bullying against marinette, revealing the darker aspects of her motivations, both about her work with hawkmoth and why she sets her sights on adrien and then felix. adrien and felix are finding out just why being born by magic is a very bad, no good thing.)
