The same part of him that marks him as quirkless also means that he needs a wider set of shoes so that they don't pinch his feet. There isn't much of a choice—white, black, red. Very plain, very perfunctory. The other children's shoes have patterns of polka dots and heroes and mascots and rainbows. Izuku had glanced hopefully at those and then sighed when the clerk brought them what limited stock they had in his size.
Inko wonders at the fairness of it. Her son just needs a little more material for his shoes. One of his schoolmates has wings. There's a brand that specializes in that—clothing for those with winged quirks. There's a brand for nearly every quirk that exists. Much of Mitsuki's home is especially heat resistant because of Katsuki's explosive quirk. Hisashi has gloves that can withstand the occasional fire-breathing cough. There's really something for everyone.
Everyone, it seems, except for those who are quirkless.

"Mr. Dynamight, sir," says a small, trembling voice.
He looks down. There at knee-height, is Deku. Not his Deku—not Izuku—but a little kid cosplaying as Deku the Hero. The costume has been lovingly and carefully handmade by one of his parents. He has a little Deku-brand green backpack that's studded with pins from the artists' booths. He's got red sneakers on—fuck, the sneakers, that's so goddamned cute. The kid's eyes are huge and full of tears, and he's doing that thing where he's desperately trying not to cry but can't hide the hitch in his voice or the quivering of his chin.
Hell, he's tugging on Katsuki's scarred heart.
Katsuki squats, so they're eye to teary eye. "What's up, Deku?" he asks. That earns him a small smile.
"I lost my mom," says the boy. He rubs at his face with his hand. "I don't know where she is. But—I'm supposed to find a hero to help me. And I found you!" He brightens. "Will you help me find my mom, Mr. Dynamight?"
Shit, how could he ever say no to that? "Sure thing, kid. Here, take my hand."

He looked down at his shirt and gasped. "It is. How did that—oh, the laundry. I must've grabbed it by mistake. I'm sorry, Todoroki." Midoriya blushed; the tips of his ears turned red.
Shouto shook his head. "Don't be sorry. We had a really late night. It's fine. It looks better on you, anyway."
"I don't know about that, but thank you," said Midoriya with a chuckle.
There was a loud snap. Shouto glanced at Bakugou sitting at the table with Kaminari and Kirishima, textbooks splayed open and highlighted in an assortment of colors. For all that Bakugou was determined to bring their classmates' grades up, his temper sometimes got the better of him, as it now apparently had; Shouto saw the source of the noise was a pencil not so much broken in half but pulverized in Bakugou's grip. His jaw was clenched, and his teeth were grinding alarmingly.
Sounding both delighted and scandalized, Kaminari asked, "What's this about a late night?"

Shouto and Midoriya manage to bake a cake together. Afterwards, Midoriya accidentally takes Shouto's shirt, and Shouto is confused as to why Bakugou becomes so much more irritable.

Summary
Katsuki returns to Tokyo after spending the past decade in the military. In an environment filled with Doms, Katsuki’s strongest asset, his ability to use Orders, is starting to fail.
When Izuku offers to give Katsuki a taste of the Pro Hero lifestyle, Katsuki agrees—just before succumbing to one of Izuku’s Dom Orders.
Katsuki was already questioning his Dom dynamic, and being forced to his knees by Izuku only confirms it. Maybe he is turning into a Sub, but that doesn’t explain why he only ever kneels to Izuku.
