They're not dating.
Katsuki and Izuku are not actually a couple. They weren't boyfriends, or partners, or hell, even friends. Well, they'd been friends once upon a time, but life has this funny way of ripping people apart. Izuku had learned to accept that all too soon in life.
So they weren't dating. They weren't besties or friends with benefits. Nothing. Actually, they were rivals at the best of times, bitter enemies at their worst. But Katsuki was laying his head in Izuku’s lap on the track field while they ate lunch with their classmates after a half day at school for a holiday.
“You guys are taking this way too seriously.” Hideki grumbled from the grass nearby.

“Yes, Kacchan?” he replied, just as quietly.
Kacchan didn’t speak right away. Izuku waited, counting in his head.
Thump, thump, thump. One, two, three.
“Back there, before you brought me here… you kissed me.”
