Summary
The year is 1947. A chance encounter at Penn Station leaves the beautiful Carol Aird breathless and thirsting for another glimpse of a mysterious, disembarking female passenger. But all the stranger leaves behind is one elegant leather glove. Yet things are not what they seem in this puzzling setting: A change-up of relationships. A vengeful first wife. An angry, petulant stepson. A daughter whose true parentage hangs in the balance. A curious death of a second wife. And an estranged middle child who may or may not be the true heiress to the Aird fortune.
‘One-Eyed Jack’ is a multi-chapter romantic mystery with a dash of the forbidden taboo. Be prepared for deception, double-crossing, and instantaneous attraction– a love-at-first-sight moment.
But the story also questions: Who do we fall in love with and why? In the end, does it matter?

Summary
A new one! “One Hundred Million Miracles” is a multi-chapter, self-contained fanfic harkening back to the Carol and Therese characters in my first story, “In the Year of the Cat.” That story followed the aftermath of the Highsmith’s novel, leading to “Miracle on Madison Avenue,” “Never Never Land,” “Pure Imagination,” and “Only You, And You Alone.” However, readers will find this story almost like a sequel to “Only You, and You Alone.”
The setting is Franklin Street in Manhattan in the late 1950s. The women enjoy their brownstone in the Triangle Below Canal Street, nicknamed the Manhattan Butter and Egg District. Carol thrives at Petersen’s Furniture Shop, which includes more responsibilities, casting her in a new light– Buyer and Historical Consultant. Therese has a promising career as a Broadway set designer under the talented wing of the revered scenic and interior designer Oliver Smith.
Life is almost perfect. But as always, something is in the wind, stirring currents of worry below the surface. Although Therese manages her anxiety well, she experiences flashbacks to the events of the past April, resulting in an intense avoidance of specific places.

Summary
A one-shot, a prequel to ‘In the Year of Hagoromo Chalk’ and ‘In the Year of the Dragon.’ It’s the wee hours of New Year’s Day, and two lovers discuss life, love, and their future– if they are willing to take the most significant risk of their lives. New York City beckons with its promise of freedom and anonymity. For one, an internship at ‘The New York Times’ awaits. For the other, an opportunity exists to perhaps land a job at the New York City Public Library. An escape! A chance at happiness! And most importantly, a gift for tiny Therese Belivet to grow up in a loving home.

Summary
As much as Therese Belivet hoped to put off an invitation from Abigail Gerhard to dinner, she’d run out of excuses. And no matter how much Carol reassured her lover, Therese couldn’t imagine sitting within the confines of Abby’s apartment enjoying herself. Drastic times call for drastic measures, and Carol arrives at a surefire plan to ease Therese’s troubled spirit. Besides, it’s Christmas. What could possibly go wrong?
This multi-chapter story features Carol, Therese, Rindy, Abby, and secondary characters from ‘Hagoromo Chalk’ and ‘Dragon.’ ‘My Favorite Things’ follows shortly after ‘Chapel of Love,’ ‘Just the Way You Are,’ ‘My Special Angel’ and ‘The Children’s Hour.’ Readers can read as a standalone or part of the broader arc of the past stories.
