Mike, still picking pieces of himself up from the past, is blindsided when he learns that his best friend’s soon-to-be step sister is a pop-star. What’s worse is that she is a pop star he has never heard of.
But surprises and shocks are headed for both of them as they navigate around their feelings for each other while dealing with their respective baggage and past.

El found it hard to imagine a time when Mike wasn’t in her life. As they went through different stages of their lives, he became her one constant. The one person she could always count on. In pre-pubescent cliquey terms, her best friend forever.
Mike was El’s best friend.
And that was proving to be a bit of a problem lately.
Because while El was eternally grateful to have found friendship in Mike, she had recently been unfortunate to also have fallen in love with him.
