"What?" Mon hisses, genuinely scandalized. Outrage bubbles up inside her at the very suggestion. Her entire body stiffens and she can’t even fake a courteous smile. "You can't be serious!"

“I will be sure to pass it to my accountant immediately,” Mon responds, though she has no intention of doing so, but feels surprisingly unsettled by Kleya’s close presence. -

It's been a few months since Kleya was dragged to this... planet. To this base full of rebels that is nothing but chaos and ill-structured attempts to strike back at the Empire, and just everything Kleya hates on principle.

This series explores Denna's and Cara's relationship throughout the years. It begins with their first meeting in a Mord'Sith temple, both still serving Lord Darken Rahl. At that time Cara is still in her training and Denna already First Mistress and right hand of Darken Rahl.
It further shows how the events of Denna capturing Richard ("Denna"-S01E08) and eventually going on a mission to find one of the Boxes of Orden ("Bloodline"-S01E16) shape their bond--until they reunite after years in Denna's brothel ("Resurrection"-S02E07).
