Summary
“I’ve noticed that you and Garcia have settled your differences,” Robby clings to his elbows, shifting slightly back and forth. “I’m glad, but I’ve got to say, the banters between you two can sometimes add up to seconds, valued seconds that should be reserved for our patients.”
“Because she’s special.” Princess sang as she walked past them with an armful of gauzes. Trinity shot her a look while Robby huffed, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
Special.
That word stuck with Trinity more than it should. Yolanda treated her differently than everyone else. It didn’t take a genius in the ED to notice how the surgeon would blatantly jab another resident for even the slightest mistake but then turn around and give Trinity the benefit of doubt over something way worse.
Or
Yolanda Garcia has made it clear that what they have is casual, but deep inside Trinity wants something more; and that affects her in more ways than one.

Summary
A month after a brutal Fourth of July shift and a quiet fallout with Garcia, Trinity Santos does what she does best, throws herself into work and tries not to think about anything else.
Then a burn patient with dark red hair and an easy smile walks into her ER.
At first, the flirting feels harmless. The chance encounters feel like coincidence.
The problem is… she keeps showing up.

Summary
It became painfully obvious she was losing control when she felt her eye twitch, watching Baran Al Hashimi observe Trinity closely, clearly enthusiastic about her performing a chest tube.
Before Yolanda can congratulate her or throw in a teasing comment, Baran speaks first. “I knew I was right to put my trust in you,” she states, giving Trinity a warm smile.
Yolanda has to resist the urge to roll her eyes when Trinity tries her best to return the smile, still surprised.
She knows perfectly well that Santos is more than capable of handling any procedure with her impeccable hands, and so what? Everyone already knew about her skills and she had been the first to recognize her potential.
☆☆☆
After an “I love you” slipped out of Santos, Garcia sets her limits again, but what Yolanda doesn’t expect is for her to respect them to the point of ignoring her everywhere, even at work.

Summary
Dr. Trinity Santos and Dr. Yolanda Garcia have a system. The system works. They blow off steam together, rarely stay the night. They argue about the coffee maker in the morning before work. The system is fine. Until it isn't fine anymore. It isn't enough, and it takes a significantly dangerous event for either of them to admit otherwise.

Summary
“You think that she went in on the water on purpose?” Langdon asked quietly.
“She knows how to swim” Garcia felt her own voice trembling “she's a good swimmer.”
