Left and got an early plane to Egypt. Be back in a few days. I’ll take care of it.
And he leaves it on the nightstand by his futon.

Dio’s plan is different. It’s less about the concept of "Heaven" and more about power; including how Stand users play into it.
Jotaro goes after him in the hopes of saving his mother by himself. To an extent, he fails.

Summary
Jotaro’s hand, rough and calloused, brushed his as he handed back the book of photographs, and something pulled sharply in the back of Rohan’s throat. He swallowed hard against it, speaking in short, clipped sentences, attempting to drown it by sheer force of will until he could be alone. To show such weakness in front of a man like Jotaro was unthinkable.

Summary
So I wrote this fic called unstuck in time and then I wrote this other fic called Dinner Together
and then I realized that the Jotaro of unstuck is the same person who gets a second chance, and Dinner Together is him, years later. thus, this series exists. It will contain all the stories relevant to that.
Some content will be sexual (like Dinner Together) but most of it will be about recovery from trauma. All of the individual works will be standalone, unless otherwise noted.

Considering all that's happened so far, Jotaro should have known that it was too good to be true.
It should've ended there, where he was destined to die, but opposing destiny is something Joestars excel at - even when they don't mean to.
But right now he has to keep himself in check, so he doesn't have to die a monster. (If only burning alive in the sun didn't sound so terrifying.)

Just as he deals the final killing blow to Dio, Jotaro is turned into a vampire. Upon realizing this another, equally horrifying fact is made known to him; Dio is still alive, living as a consciousness inside Jotaro's head. He can also turn into a bat, apparently.
As sworn enemies, they must face a larger threat together and find a solution to their current dilemma that benefits everyone involved. Easier said than done.
