Summary
“You’re right,” Scaramouche says. “There are an infinite number of universes out there. We are just specks of dust, nothing we do or say truly matters in the whole scheme of things.”
Scaramouche has no more memories to give, he cannot heal this universe. Hundreds of universes before this one received memories, but now he has no more. The only thing that Scaramouche can remember now are the hundreds of instances he met Kazuha, and he cannot let those go.
“But to say we don’t matter,” Scaramouche continues, “that isn’t true. In every single universe out there, you matter to me.”

Summary
Dear Scaramouche,
If you’re reading this, that means I have disappeared. Whether I’m dead or still alive, that’s for you to decide. Now stop right there - I know you’re panicking right now and will want an explanation. But as far as reasons go, I can offer you none. What I can offer you is one truth about this world.
Your life is a lie.

Summary
“Who are you?” Kazuha called out of habit. Then, he saw the glowing lines which cracked the painted metal skin apart. Those eyes that were previously so mesmerizing were only gears hidden behind lenses of violet. “What are you?”
The man, no, the robot, opened his mouth, “Scaramouche.”

Summary
Scaramouche still asked Kazuha, sometimes, if he wanted to leave. At first, Kazuha had replied with a quick ‘not yet’ despite knowing that all wanderers would have to part ways someday. But now, there was no way he could look into those violet eyes and say for certain that he would leave.
It felt like floating when Kazuha was around Scaramouche, drawn into a tempest orbit.
