    “Charlie,” Lando calls, tears welling up as he stretches his arms towards the omega.

    “Shhh, Lala,” Charles says gently, moving closer and pulling the smaller pup into an embrace. Lando goes willingly, whining softly as Charles pulls George close too. George sniffles quietly but buries his face in Charles’ neck, slowly calming down.

    Max feels awful. He can feel the weight of the other pups' eyes on him, and all he wants is to run out of the nest. He shouldn't be here. Nico asked him to take care of Georgie, and now Georgie's crying because of him.

    Lewis will be furious.

    The alpha’s going to shout at him… and Max is sure this time a reprimand won’t be the end of it. Maybe Lewis won’t use the belt... maybe he can ask Dan for help...
