I’ve got an Omega recovering from a suppressant overdose in the hospital right now that has no family or friends in the country besides another Omega who was able to be taken in—as far as we know. He has to go somewhere and you’re one of the only Alphas I trust around here,” Sebastian begged softly.
His heart squeezed in his chest when he also thought about the fact that the man would be terrified when he woke up with no one he knew there. Max let out a defeated puff of air and dragged a hand down his face while closing his eyes.
“Alright,” he finally agreed.

He remembered his mom, Arthur, Lorenzo, all crying in the hospital room while he laid in bed, unable to move. He remembered the look on the doctor's face when Charles asked how long it would be until he could drive again. He felt the tension in the room at his question, and nobody even had to answer for him to know that it was over. He’d never drive again, at least not in formula one.
