It all happened too fast.
One moment Lan WangJi stood between them and the next one he stood right in front of Wei Wuxian. The latter quickly grabbed one of WangJi's hand, bringing it against his belly, smile growing impossibly wider. For a few seconds everything seemed too quiet, Lan WangJi trying to assimilate what was going on.
Then, in the flash of a moment, his whole body went a bit tense and his eyes opened wide, his other hand moving to rest beside the other as he got a bit closer.
