Two former X-Men, a talking racoon and his talking tree friend stranded on Earth after their ship broke down, a college-aged New Yorker on the run from his past, a merc with a mouth who may or may not have f-ed up the timeline after messing with Cable’s fancy-schmancy time travel watch, and two runaway science experiments walk into a Denny’s knockoff in the middle of the desert.
A Denny’s knockoff with an ambush meant for the aforementioned runaways that the former superheroes didn’t think of walking into, let alone getting caught up in a road trip just to find a so-called promised land in the divided wasteland that was once the United States.
Then again, there’s nothing like a good old fashioned road trip to form some friendships, kick some ass, and perhaps find some love along the way.
Assuming Deadpool will actually follow the story instead of having constant spats with the narrator first.
