Summary
You crouch down and open the package hesitantly, finding a pair of yellow-orange aviator glasses. Huh. You have to say, that is not what you were expecting. Is this Valdivian’s attempt at a consolation gift? ‘Sorry you were fired, here’s a pair of shitty glasses!’ Maybe they have VR or something. It’s wishful thinking, but you slowly put the glasses on.
Getting fired isn’t even the worst part of your day, somehow. Neither is the drone breaking through your front window or the headache that’s been blooming in your temple since you first woke. No. It’s those damn glasses.
