    Remus gave her a warning glare.

    “… Mate? I’m sorry! I couldn’t think of another word!” Lily exclaimed, trying and failing to hold in a giggle. Remus groaned and collapsed onto the floor. She outright laughed, then, the high, infectious kind. “Sorry! I’m sorry, I won’t repeat it.”

    After a prank over the holiday break, the few Gryffindors left, sleep in the common room, and Sirius and Remus sleep in the far back, under a blanket fort made from cushions, a table, and a blanket.

    All in all, it was an excellent prank executed by The Marauders, even if the whole of Gryffindor now was forced to sleep in the common room. Thankfully, it was also the first week of the winter holidays, so not a lot of people were there. Peter was home for the holidays, and James was heading back the next day, much to McGonagall’s pleasure. James always spurred things on and out of control.

    “Hold still.” Lily chided Remus.

    Remus just rolled his eyes.

    She pinched his nose. “Don’t get sassy with me, Moony.” She muttered.
