His suit retracts into his arc reactor, the soft glow bringing a dim light into the room. He can see Peter a little better now, and he won't even look at him. He's under the covers facing the wall.
"You don't mean that.""I don't want it."
His voice is raspy, his tone low and impatient.Something happened.
Or, Peter's tired of messing up on patrol, and Tony's there to be the voice of reason.

Summary
After the death of his beloved Aunt May, Peter Parker’s world crumbled. Not only had he lost the only family he had ever truly known, but he also faced the harsh reality of being a 15 year old orphan. With no other immediate relatives to care for him, Peter gets placed in the care of his last living relative—his paternal grandfather, Richard Parker Sr. and his much younger wife, Cynthia. Peter had never been close to his grandfather. Richard was a cold, strict man, a retired army General. Richard Sr. harbours bitterness towards Peter and thinks of him as a curse.
