This is fairly common knowledge, considering his attire, but Maddie didn't make the connection until she overheard him talking about it with some of the other ghosts. Then she notices how much he looks like Danny. How much he sounds like him. How similar their mannerisms are, and their habits, and their sense of humor.

    Unfortunately, she still manages to come to some slightly wrong conclusions.

Pre-reveal Rumi, hiding both her patterns and her wants, loves her girls in whatever way she can until she's free (whether that means shielding Mira and Zoey in fights or pretending to be something she's not). She just has to hold out until the Honmoon’s golden. Straightforward enough, right?

    A sudden weightlessness overtook her, her vision consumed by a brilliant white light. Time shifted around her, the air itself humming with an unfamiliar magic. When her senses returned, she found herself standing in the same place, yet everything was different.

    The monument was intact. The stone gleamed in the morning sun, its inscriptions still fresh. Flowers lay at its base, offerings left by passing travelers. And the sky—so impossibly blue, so vibrant—felt untouched by the years she had known.

    She turned sharply, her pulse quickening. She could sense them before she even saw them.
