There were sort of unwritten rules written for these entities like himself. Their purpose was to terrorise peasant humans in their own way; Stalking, seeking, terrorising- Until they eventually scatter away, never to return again. Once they succeed, they are able to travel to another world, repeating their torment once again.
People never question these strange entities in an equally strange world. The only thing that ever matters is how you choose to treat these phenomena.
And Regect's first friend does things differently.
