Kiyoomi hated his life as a prince. He hated the unwanted attention, the high expectations, and his vain father who happened to be the king. But most importantly, he hated the rule that stated Kiyoomi must marry a woman and continue the royal lineage, especially since he was not attracted to women. Kiyoomi's father was insistent that he found a wife soon, preferably by the end of the year. So, an event was held at their castle in order for Kiyoomi to find a wife. Kiyoomi was sure that this was his last straw, this was the final piece before he broke. Well, that was until he found a pretty blonde prince wondering around the gardens. Then, Kiyoomi began changing his mind.

But Atsumu is too blinded by Hinata's light to notice Kiyoomi's night, to notice how the night loves him.
He's also blind to his own feelings.
Atsumu never notices how he destroyed Kiyoomi until all he feels is pain, and he is numb by it.
But when he does notice, Kiyoomi has already decided to get him out of his life."There's no night anymore, so the sun will never set, Miya."

Summary
Atsumu loves the ocean. He wants to live by it one day, when he’s old and can spend all his time there, just walking across the shore with the water at his feet. He could watch the ocean for hours, the waves pulling back in the day and coming up at night. The choppiness of it, the anger, but the beautiful, and calmness it holds.
Bokuto loves the ocean. He loves taking pictures of his lover by the water, the way the ocean compliments his whole being. He loves the coolness, the smell. It smells like home. It was his favorite place to be. But, even his lover would say that his favorite place was wherever he was.
Bokuto and Atsumu hate the ocean.
It took away the person they loved the most on this planet.
