Summary
Two scouts from the East Coast travel to Nebraska, Colorado, and Nevada to tease out the truth of the strange and intense dreams four years after the superflu destroyed human civilization. After a difficult journey, they start to tease out "what really happened" by talking to survivors from both the Boulder Free Zone and Flagg's community... and they draw their own conclusions about the events depicted in The Stand.
I put in character tags for Harold, Flagg, and Abigail, but they're not physically present - but the work revolves around many of their actions and decisions, and I think that people who like those characters might like my story, so I included them as "characters." While they never show up, their influence on the story is pervasive.
Also, while I used the novel as the reference point, people who have seen any adaptation of the story should find this tale intelligible!
