Stuffed full of fortune cookies and noodles, Chris dozed off in the backseat. He must’ve been very young, as Claire was only two or three. She had her little blonde head in his lap, snoring over the sound of the radio in his parents' Buick. The smell of cigarette smoke was cloying and constant. Even then, Claire was everything to Chris. It was the two of them against the world. And then Leon S. Kennedy stumbled into his life.
AU where Leon S. Kennedy graduated the academy two months earlier. This means he was employed at RPD before the events at Arklay Manor. Honestly this is a self indulgent fix it fic where I get to cry my eyes out over Chreon.
